Carl Sparks joined the Board in February 2011. Mr. Sparks is President of Gilt Groupe, which he joined in 2009 as Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining the Gilt Groupe, he served as General Manager for Hotels.com USA and Canada and as Chief Marketing Officer for Expedia.com. Mr. Sparks has also served as Vice President of Direct Business and Brand at Capital One and held senior marketing and strategy roles at Guinness, PepsiCo and Boston Consulting Group.
