Stop struggling to remember phone numbers! With Click-2-Call, you can conveniently select the number you want to call from any of your computer programs, like Microsoft Excel or Outlook. This feature even installs a button in Outlook that you can click on to call any contact in your address book. Just pick up the phone after selecting the number and Click-2-Call will automatically dial for you.
If you're in the middle of a project at your desk and want to quickly dial a number that isn't stored on your computer, you can manually enter the number using Click-2-Call too!
How to Use Click-2-Call
Installing Click-2-Call is easy! All you need is Microsoft Windows 98 SE, NT 4.0, 2000, XP, or 2003.
- Visit http://www.vonage.com/downloads/vonageclick2call.exe
- Click on the "Start" button
- Select "Programs"
- Select the Vonage folder
- Select "Vonage Click-2-Call"
- Check for the Click-2-Call icon on your toolbar
Next, to call a number in any computer program:
- Find and click on the number you want to call. You can also select multiple numbers
- Click on the Click-2-Call icon on your toolbar or the F6 key
- Enter the same username and password you use to login to your Vonage Online Account
- Click on the "Login" button
- In "From," select the line you want to call from
- In "Number," select the number you want to call
- Click on the "Place Call" button
- Pick up your Vonage phone and wait for your party to answer
To manually enter the number you want to call:
- Click on the Click-2-Call icon on your toolbar or the F6 key
- Enter the same username and password you use to login to your Vonage Online Account
- Click on the "Login" button
- In "From," select the line you want to call from
- In "Number," enter the number you want to call
- Click on the "Place Call" button
- Pick up your Vonage phone and wait for your party to answer
