Enhanced Call Forwarding Basics

Have you ever used Call Forwarding? Stay in touch with friends and family and never miss a call.

It's as easy as *72 to enable Call Forwarding from your Vonage Phone. You can even log into your Vonage Online Account and easily configure Basic Call Forwarding or Enhanced Call Forwarding with SimulRing® and ring up to 5 additional numbers.

Configuring Call Forwarding using your Vonage phone

Enabling Call Forwarding using your Vonage phone

  1. Lift the handset of the Vonage number you wish to forward and dial *72.
  2. Follow the prompts and enter the 10-digit phone number to which all calls will be forwarded. You may confirm the number is correct by pressing 1 or press 2 to change.
  3. You may now hang up your Vonage handset.

Calls placed to your Vonage number will ring once or twice before ringing the forwarded number.

Disabling Call Forwarding using your Vonage phone
  1. Lift the handset of the Vonage number you wish to disable Call Forwarding and dial *73.
  2. You'll hear a confirmation message stating that Call Forwarding has been disabled.
  3. You may now hang up your Vonage handset.

Configuring Call Forwarding using your Vonage Online Account

  1. Using your Username and Password, logon to your Vonage Online Account.
  2. Click Features and go to the Call Forwarding section.
  3. Choose the line from which calls will be forwarded, now click Configure.
  4. Select the Basic Call Forwarding tab. Choose the number of seconds you would like to have your Vonage phone ring before forwarding.
  5. Enter the phone number where calls will be forwarded and click Enable.

Calls placed to your Vonage number will be forwarded according to your selections.
