The 2018 Channel Partners Conference & Expo was held last week in Las Vegas and Vonage came to win. With an award-winning, attention-grabbing booth, innovative product demos, speaking opportunities, partner meetings and a kick-off to our incredible incentive program for partners throughout the year, Vonage simply stole the show.
Setting the Channel Up for Success
To kick things off, we proudly sponsored the all-new Business Success Symposium Preconference, where execs, sales and marketing experts, and technical leads spent the day learning about new business strategies and discovering how best to adapt to and serve evolving customer needs. Channel Chief Bob Crissman gave a keynote presentation to all attendees, focusing on how to drive Better Business Outcomes for customers, while CEO Alan Masarek provided closing remarks, assuring that Vonage is committed to helping channel partners succeed by providing innovative technology solutions that are changing the way business gets done. The day was filled with informative and enlightening sessions, including the 'Channel Marketing Now: A 360 View' panel, featuring our Director of Marketing Partnerships & Strategy Irfan Fazlulla providing insights such as: “Partners are realizing that customers need solutions, not products. Look to vendors with broad capabilities and a highly customizable portfolio for the biggest revenue potential.”
Changing the Game
“We believe 2018 will be a pivotal year for the channel as cloud communications technology continues to dramatically change the way businesses operate,” stated Bob Crissman during a Channel Chief Roundtable. True to our legacy of disruption, we announced several pieces of news around the conference that prove Vonage is leading the way toward the future of the channel, and the industry itself. Starting with the announcement of our new comprehensive channel partnership program, the Vonage Partner Network, built to enable partners to solve their customers' communication needs by leveraging our unique combination of unified communications solutions and embedded communications APIs, and building to the launches of the enhanced Vonage Integration Suite and Vee, the first customer assistant integrated with a cloud-based unified communications solution, the steady beat of news coming out of Vonage signaled to all channel partners, providers, and competitors in attendance that we are relentlessly innovating to best serve our partners and ultimately, their customers.
It’s nice to leave Vegas feeling like a winner, and we were honored to receive two awards during the show. Our Channel Chief Bob Crissman received a 2018 Circle of Excellence Award from the Channel Partners team. These awards honor executives for their vision, innovation, and advocacy of the channel, and we can think of no one who better exemplifies this ideal. In addition, our booth, which was filled throughout the week with attendees eager to take advantage of our activations and demos, won the Best Booth Award! Best in Show award winners were selected by conference attendees along with a panel of editors, voting for their favorites. We're proud that our impressive booth design, innovative product demos, exciting activations, and energetic staff earned Vonage this Best in Show distinction
