Vonage^® phone systems are scalable and allow you to add and subtract a business extension based on your business needs. Adding a new extensions is very easy. In fact, you can add new extensions yourself via the Admin Portal, or you can contact a Vonage Business representative to do it for you.

There is no setup charge to add a new business extension; the cost of additional extensions is simply added to your regular monthly plan. Multi-line discounts are also based on the number of extensions added.

No, business phone system hardware, a.k.a. physical phones and accessories, are not included with your phone system. However, Vonage^® offers great prices on all our certified IP phones and accessories. In some cases, you can use your current business phone hardware with Vonage instead of buying new business phone system hardware. Existing phones must be SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) capable to be compatible with your Vonage system.
