(1) Speak to a Vonage VoIP Consultant
An experienced VoIP consultant will work with you to understand how you’re using your current office phone system, the type of internet service you have, and how many extensions and business phones your business needs. With this information, the consultant can quickly provide pricing based on your service needs and can answer any questions you have.
(2) Prepare Your Vonage Account
As soon as you’re ready, we’ll immediately begin preparing your account. Your VoIP consultant will recommend IP desk phones, if needed, and order them for direct delivery to your business. With your approval, our Porting Team can begin the process of transferring your existing phone numbers to your Vonage Business account.
(3) Activate Business Phone Service
Service is activated and billing is initiated when you’re ready. That means you won’t be paying for service if you’re waiting for phones to arrive, or running out a contract with your old service provider. Just call us to activate service. Then, plug into your existing high-speed internet connection. You may choose to activate service even before your desk phones arrive by downloading our MobileConnect app or DesktopConnect app. It’s your choice.
