It was glitz and glamour last night at the annual CCA Excellence Awards in Glasgow and it was made all the better with NewVoiceMedia coming away a winner!
Over the previous two days the CCA’s 18th Global Customer Contact Convention had been taking place – a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved in delivering customer service to network and learn how others are facing today’s challenges.
NewVoiceMedia had a presence at the Convention giving away a Kindle Fire to one lucky attendee!
We ran a round table discussion involving some of the largest contact centres in the country. There were two key topics that came out of that discussion:
- The challenges involved with location independence – the need to deliver exceptional customer service regardless of where the customer or the advisor are situated.
- The challenges involved with a patchwork quilt of legacy technology – the need to provide a consistent customer experience when multiple sites (and especially acquired businesses) run their own telephony platform.
As the convention drew to a close the attendees headed off to a gala dinner and the awards ceremony. NewVoiceMedia had entered alongside our wonderful customer SHL. SHL are a global business providing talent measurement solutions and have implemented NewVoiceMedia to ensure a professional, efficient and consistent customer experience wherever in the world they are called from.
Up against some stiff competition from strong vendors and very large customer organisations we nervously waited for our category to be called – and there it was – a win for SHL and NewVoiceMedia.
It’s always nice for us to receive accreditations and awards for our technology, but partnership awards mean so much more. We develop our products to help our customer’s clients speak to an advisor and get their question answered quicker than they would otherwise. Awards like this demonstrate that it’s happening in the real world.
Thanks to our customer Jag Tucker from SHL for entering the awards alongside us and we look forward to 2013!
