Vonage Recognized for High-Quality Voice, Video Service

Vonage's SmartWAN, a cloud-based software-defined WAN service, is this month's Network Innovation Award winner. The product, rolled out earlier this year, aims to enhance quality of service and optimizes real-time network traffic, like voice and video. SmartWAN, anchored by VeloCloud's SD-WAN technology, maximizes bandwidth across multiple locations and works over a private or public network. Vonage adds gUnify to Oracle Cloud for integration between voice and mission-critical apps
Enterprises using the Oracle Cloud have a new option for integrating elements of their voice and mission-critical applications. This morning, Vonage added its gUnify Connector to the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. The full name of the product is actually gUnify Connector for Oracle Sales Cloud, putting it in the realm of client interaction and management. The Vonage offering was designed to be flexible and easy to use across a variety of devices. The telecommunications company is targeting enterprises with a dispersed workforce, in particular, with a service that offers integration between Oracle applications and cloud-based telephony, videoconferencing and other unified communications features.
