Vonage Business Inc. (“Sponsor”) will be sponsoring a giveaway as a participating company at the Droidcon Berlin Conference, at Citycube in Berlin, Germany. The conference event will be held on 6 July 2022 to 8 July 2022 (“Event”), where there will be a chance to win a prize at the Event (“Giveaway”). Instructions on how to enter and participate in the Giveaway during the Event are set forth below. 

Giveaway Period: The Giveaway begins 6 July 2022 at 9:00 CEST and ends 8 July 2022 at 15:00 CEST (the “Giveaway Period”). 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. 

Eligibility Requirements. The Giveaway is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The following persons are not eligible to win Prizes or otherwise participate in this Giveaway: employees and non-employee workers of Sponsor, its respective affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, the immediate family members of all such employees and all others with whom they are domiciled. 

How To Enter. To enter the Giveaway during the Event, the participant must: (1) Have a valid email address; (2) Be registered for and attend the Event, (3) Sign up to the Vonage Developer Centre via the registration link provided to the attendee on the day of the Event; and (4) Complete the Online Raffle Form.

Prize: The Winner will receive one (1) Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 with an estimated value of $324.13. 

Selection and Notification of Winner. One (1) provisional winner will be chosen at random on or before 8 July 2022 by the Sponsor from among all eligible entries pooled together and received during the Giveaway Period. Sponsors will attempt to notify the provisional winner by telephone within twenty-four (24) hours of the drawing. No messages will be left at the telephone number(s) given by provisional winners, and any calls returned by provisional winners via caller identification or similar technology will not be accepted. In order to claim a Prize, a provisional winner must respond to Sponsors notification within 24 hours of notice or attempted notice. If the provisional winner is contacted and notified in person within such 24 hour period and complies with these Official Rules, he/she will be declared the official winner (“Winner”). If the provisional winner is not reached and notified in person by telephone within twenty-four (24) hours of the drawing, or does not comply with these Official Rules, he/she may be disqualified and Sponsors may select a substitute provisional winner at random from among all remaining eligible entries. Sponsors will conduct up to 2 alternate drawings, after which the Prize will remain unawarded. 

Except where prohibited, acceptance of any Prize constitutes the Winner’s irrevocable consent to the publication or other use by Sponsors and their licensees of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media, including the Internet, for any commercial, publicity or promotional purpose, without limitation, review or approval, or additional compensation. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Release. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO FULLY RELEASE, FOREVER DISCHARGE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSORS, VONAGE HOLDING CORP, VONAGE BUSINESS INC., VONAGE AMERICA INC. AND THEIR RESPECTIVE SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, DISTRIBUTORS, ADVERTISING/PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND PRIZE SUPPLIERS AND EACH SUCH COMPANY’S OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, LIABILITIES, LOSSES, INJURIES, AND DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE CONTEST, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY, LOSS OF ENJOYMENT, OR ANY OTHER HARM WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF: (1) PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST; (2) THE QUALITY, RECEIPT, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE; OR (3) ANY TRAVEL OR ACTIVITY THAT IS RELATED TO THE CONTEST OR ANY PRIZE. 

General Participation Rules. By participating, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors and any Contest judges or Contest administrators selected by Sponsors, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Contest as solely determined by Sponsors. In the event the Contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsors which corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsors reserve the right to award Prizes based on the entries received before the termination date. Proof of sending or submission of an entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsors. 

Limitations of Liability. By participating in the Giveaway, participants acknowledge and agree that everything regarding this Giveaway, including the prize(s), are provided “as is” and that the released parties make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the prize(s) and the released parties hereby disclaim all such warranties, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. (because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain implied warranties, the above limitation may not apply to you. In such states, the liability of the released parties is limited to the fullest extent permitted by such state law.) 

Privacy. All personal information submitted by you as part of this Giveaway will be treated in accordance with Vonage Privacy Policy, except as otherwise described in these Official Rules and/or any promotional materials. By participating in this Giveaway, you acknowledge and agree that all information and material, including any personal information provided by your entry materials, affidavits, and releases, will be collected, used and disclosed by the Sponsor and its authorized agents, representative, and other third parties involved in the execution, administration, or hosting of this Giveaway, for the purposes of administering the Giveaway and prize fulfillment and may be further publicized as described above.
