Where can I find the per-minute mobile rates to countries not included in my plan? -
If you need to call a mobile phone in a country that’s not part of your plan, you can use the Rate Finder located in the tools module on every plan page to see the per-minute rates.

Are there any restrictions on "unlimited" calling? -
Our worldwide phone service is for normal residential use only and can’t be used for commercial or other special purposes. See our Reasonable Use Policy and Terms of Service for more info.

Does Vonage offer mobile phone plans? -
No, Vonage isn’t a mobile service provider. However, you can use your Vonage calling plan to make unlimited calls in the US and internationally on up to two smartphones—and you can answer calls made to your Vonage phone number from almost anywhere—using the free Vonage Extensions app.*
If you don’t have a Vonage plan, our Vonage Mobile app lets you make free voice and video calls, and send free texts, video messages and photos to anyone with the app, anywhere in the world.** You also get great low rates on international calls to anyone who doesn’t have the app.
*Calls made outside of Wi-Fi networks will use your data plan and, depending on your data plan, data-usage rates may apply.

How long does it take to transfer my number? -
It usually takes about 7-10 business days. You can check the status of your number transfer by signing in to your Online Account and clicking ”Check Transfer Status” or “Information Needed” (if additional information is needed to complete the number transfer).

Do I have to sign a contract to get Vonage service? -
No. Not all of our calling plans require agreements. You'll be billed the same monthly rate either way, and the only difference is that with a one-year contract, you get free shipping, free activation and get to take advantage of any special introductory pricing.

A combination of factors is used to determine abnormal use, including but not limited to: the number of unique numbers called, calls forwarded, minutes used and other factors. Subject to our Reasonable Use Policy and Terms of Service.

Extensions® permits inbound and outbound calling on up to two additional registered phones at the home calling plan rates. If you subscribe to plans with monthly minutes allotments (for example, U.S. & Canada 400), all call minutes placed from both your home and registered Extensions® phones will count toward your monthly minutes allotment. Extensions® calls made from mobiles use data or airtime and may incur surcharges, depending on your mobile plan. The number transfer process takes approximately 10 business days from the time you confirm your transfer request. Alarms, TTY and other systems may not be compatible.
