Vonage Pro plan With the Vonage Pro plan, the first 25 conversions are free, and 25 cents per message there after. All other plans All other plans offer Vonage Visual Voicemail for 25 cents for each conversion. Messages can also be sent via SMS to your cell phone. Vonage will not charge extra for the use of SMS services, however, your mobile carrier may charge for the incoming message. With Vonage Visual Voicemail you can have Visual Voicemails sent to up to 5 different e-mails addresses or up to 5 different cell phone numbers. Can I still listen to my voicemail? Yes. With Vonage Visual Voicemail , you keep all the capabilities of Voicemail Plus. You can still listen to your voicemail messages by dialing in, by going online to your Vonage Online Account, or by listening to the audio file (.wav) attached to your Vonage Visual Voicemail email. Do I pay for messages that are not converted? No. You are not charged for voicemail messages that cannot be converted to text. Why can't some messages be converted? Certain messages cannot be transcribed - reasons may include the caller hanging up before leaving a message, noisy background environments, poor phone connections, and unclear speech. What languages does Vonage Visual Voicemail understand? Currently, Vonage Visual Voicemail works only in English. It will not convert voicemail messages left in any other language. Can I send my Vonage Visual Voicemail messages to any email address? You can designate any working email address to receive your Vonage Visual Voicemail messages. If you have more than one Vonage phone line, you can designate up to five different email addresses for each line. The length of the email address is restricted to 34 characters and should fit the box that contains the email address on the Email Notification page of your Vonage Online Account. An error message will appear if you attempt to input more than 34 characters for your email address. You can also have the messages sent to your cell phone. You can designate up to five different cell phone numbers for each of your Vonage lines. Will long voicemail messages be converted in their entirety? Vonage Visual Voicemail will convert the first 60 seconds of long voicemail messages. The email message will advise you that the conversion was truncated and to listen to your voicemail to hear the complete message. Does Vonage Visual Voicemail work with any voicemail service? Vonage Visual Voicemail works only with voicemail messages left on the Vonage voicemail system. You may, of course, forward your other phones, such as a cell phone, to your Vonage phone number so that the Vonage voicemail system receives your unanswered calls.
