This year Vonage is an exclusive titanium Dreamforce sponsor and is proud of our ever-growing partnership with Salesforce. Our contact center and unified communications solutions have the tightest integration available with Salesforce, ensuring your teams have the tools they need to work faster and start helping customers right away. Plus, we're Service Cloud Voice-ready, delivering even more automation and intelligence to your customer and agent experience.
Kicking off Dreamforce in a keynote address, Marc Benioff, Salesforce Chair and CEO, explained how Salesforce has responded to the pandemic and supported the global response effort, including helping businesses become ‘customer first’, “because this is one of the paths to getting us through this crisis.”
Bret Taylor, President, and COO of Salesforce, joined Benioff on stage, and added, “Our mindset about work has shifted from a place you go, to something you do. Every company needs a digital HQ to connect employees, customers, and partners, and thrive in a work-from-anywhere world. Organizations worldwide build their digital HQs on Salesforce and Slack so they can work better and grow faster.”
Benioff continued, “If Parker and I were starting Salesforce today, would we do it at Montgomery Street, a few blocks away from here? Maybe. Or would we have just stayed in our homes and set up a digital headquarters instead? So a digital headquarters becomes an essential building block to build a trusted enterprise in today’s world.”
These sentiments were echoed by Breanna Kuhl, Global SVP of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances at Vonage, in our Salesforce+ on-demand session: Reimagining Financial Services in the New World. Breanna explained, “We are at the beginning of a huge market-wide communications revolution. If there was ever a question that businesses needed to digitally transform not only to survive but to thrive, COVID-19 eliminated any doubt. This is a secular change in how business gets done. It is now fundamental for companies to stay connected to employees and customers from anywhere – through whatever channel they choose – video, voice, messaging, and chat. Customers don’t just want this or expect it - they now demand it.
“We don’t know what the future will hold, but here’s what we do know - companies that design their service through the lens of their customers, move quickly, and get more done will win.”
Day one of Dreamforce also saw Vonage take part in an exciting, virtual demo jam. Hosted by Salesforce MVPs Gordon Lee and Megan Himan, we joined five other Salesforce partners to showcase our most compelling use-case and features in a three-minute demo. Joe Scofield, Senior Solutions Engineering at Vonage demonstrated how you can bring even more automation, intelligence, and global calling capability to Service Cloud Voice with Vonage Contact Center. As one of the highest-rated Salesforce partners for Contact Center, through partner telephony, Salesforce customers can enjoy the best agent experience within Service Cloud powered by the world’s most flexible and reliable communications platform.
