Duncan Milner
Former Global Creative President at TBWA Worldwide and Global Creative Leader for Media Arts Lab
An Emmy Award winner, Duncan spent 15 years working closely with Steve Jobs and helped to launch Apple’s most iconic products including the iPod, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. He’s the creative leader behind the Mac vs PC TV commercials which Adweek named Campaign of the Decade. In 2015, he was named to Fast Company’s Creative 50. Duncan was most recently the global creative president at TBWA Worldwide and the global creative leader for Media Arts Lab. TBWA was recently named “One of the World’s Most Innovative Companies” by Fast Company. Duncan co-founded TBWA\Media Arts Lab and helped grow it to 800+ employees.
Ken Jennings
Computer scientist, best-selling author, TED speaker and all-time Jeopardy! champion
Ken is a computer scientist, best-selling author, and TED speaker. He’s also best known as the all-time Jeopardy! champion with 72 wins and $2.5 million, both American game show records. Ken’s streak made him a TV folk hero. He’s appeared regularly as a guest on The Tonight Show, The Late Show, Good Morning America, and Sesame Street. In 2011, millions watched as Ken battled Watson on Jeopardy! introducing the world to artificial intelligence and an IBM computer system capable of answering questions posed in natural language.
Alan Masarek
Chief Executive Officer Vonage
Alan Masarek joined Vonage (NYSE:VG) as the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors in November 2014. Since then, Mr. Masarek has ushered in an era of transformation for Vonage, driving the company’s rapid growth and evolution from a residential home phone provider into a global business cloud communications leader. Through a series of strategic acquisitions, coupled with fast, organic growth and internal technology development, Mr. Masarek has created a culture of agility, technology innovation and customer centricity.

An innovator with deep experience in mobile, SMB and Enterprise sectors, Mr. Masarek came to Vonage from Google, Inc., where he was Director, Chrome & Apps from June 2012 until October 2014, following the acquisition of his prior company, Quickoffice, Inc.

Mr. Masarek was the Co-founder of Quickoffice, Inc., one of the world’s most widely recognized mobile brands, and served as its Chief Executive Officer from July 2007 until June 2012. Under his leadership, Quickoffice became the world’s most widely embedded mobile productivity software, with a top-grossing iPad app and a top 10 grossing app in the Google Play Store, engaging more than 26 million registered users at the time of Google’s purchase.

Mr. Masarek earned his M.B.A., with Distinction, from Harvard Business School and his B.B.A., Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Georgia.

Nexmo’s iOS Developer Advocate
Paul is Nexmo’s iOS Developer Advocate. A seasoned software engineer, trainer and public speaker, he specialised in data-driven solutions on Apple platforms with an emphasis on prototyping, best practices and balance with agility.

Rick Baff
Chief Information Officer AXIO
Rick is responsible for AXIO’s information technology platform. He is a results-driven hands-on IT executive with a unique combination of business acumen and technology skills. He offers deep expertise in data analytics and reporting across the enterprise and complexity spectrum, with extensive experience successfully creating, motivating and leading teams to define, design, build and support complex enterprise-wide SaaS IT solutions for the insurance, financial services, healthcare, wellness, mobile and SMB markets. Rick is a graduate of Lehigh University and has two Masters degrees including an MBA in Investment Finance from Columbia University and an MPA in Energy Economics & Policy from New York University. Rick founded a data analytics company in 1994 targeted to the insurance industry for clients such as AIG, Chubb/ACE. Prior to that, he held various global technology senior management positions at Dow Jones/Telerate and ADP focused on trading room technology & market data.
Britt Barak
Product Manager at Nexmo
Britt Barak is a product manager at Nexmo. In the past, she led the mobile engineering teams of various startup companies in Israel, the Startup Nation.

Britt is a part of Google Developer Experts program, a worldwide public speaker, who is passionate about developers and startup communities, and diversity in tech.

Hui Jing is a Developer Advocate at Nexmo. She has an inordinate love of CSS and typography, and is generally passionate about all things web.

JavaScript Developer Advocate for Nexmo
Alex Lakatos is a JavaScript Developer Advocate for Nexmo. In his spare time he is a Mozilla Tech Speaker and has been a contributor to the Mozilla project for the past eight years, based in London. JavaScript developer building on the open web, he has been pushing its boundaries every day. You can check out his github profile or get in touch on twitter. When he’s not programming, he likes to travel the world, so it’s likely you’ll bump into him in an airport lounge.

Product Manager for Vonage’s Node-RED
Sam has over 20 years of experience in the communications industry, having started out as a GSM field engineer climbing towers he’s worked his way through most of the network and APIs to end up as Product Manager for Vonage’s Node-RED offering. In his spare time he is an Amazon Alexa Champion having created a number of novel Alexa projects and he has a strange obsession with phone number formats.

Developer Advocate with Nexmo
Lorna is based in Yorkshire, UK; she is a Developer Advocate with Nexmo as well as a published author and experienced conference speaker. Lorna is passionate about open source technologies and sharing knowledge, code and experiences with developers everywhere. In her spare time, Lorna blogs at http://lornajane.net.

Jay Patel
Chief Product Officer Vonage
As Chief Product Officer, Mr. Patel leverages his more than 20 years of experience building and guiding top-performing product development teams, with a focus on advancing product strategy, defining and executing on the Company's product roadmap.

 Mr. Patel joined Vonage in May of 2016. Prior to Vonage, he was a Vice President at Motorola Mobility where he held various senior-level roles. Areas of focus included: technology development, product development, customer–facing roles and product marketing.

Mr. Patel has a proven record of accomplishment in technology planning, product development, and market introduction. His vast experience has allowed him to develop solid leadership skills to communicate effectively with management, customers, suppliers, and internal organizations.

Mr. Patel holds a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Maxime Pruvost
Co-founder and CTO of Carts Guru
Maxime Pruvost is co-founder and CTO of Carts Guru. He leads Carts Guru's global product vision, and responsible for delivering the software. Prior to founding Carts Guru in 2017, Maxime has founded 2 others companies in Business Intelligence and Marketing / Ecommerce industries. Maxime is an innovative leader that has successfully shipped products that have delivered meaningful business results. He focuses on helping make the company an exceptional place for engineers, developers to work and learn. Maxime holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science (Supinfo, Paris).
Manik Sachdeva
Senior Software Engineer at Nexmo
Manik is a Senior Software Engineer at Nexmo where he focuses on building OpenTok Client SDKs for iOS, Android, Web, and Windows. He enjoys working with developers and crafting APIs. When he's not building APIs or SDKs, you can find him speaking at conferences and meetups.

Customer Experience leader Airbnb
Raj is a seasoned Customer Experience leader and CCXP with a diverse set of experiences as both a CX practitioner and a consultant. At Airbnb, Raj is focused on developing new approaches to capture and socialize the voice of the customer and to build processes that enable teams to act on customer feedback. Prior to Airbnb, Raj was at Verint where he drove go to market strategy for CX consulting offerings and helped Verint’s clients optimize the business impact of their Voice of Customer programs. Prior to Verint, Raj was at eBay leading efforts to shift the NPS program’s focus from simply trending metrics to delivering actionable insights. Prior to eBay, Raj was a consultant advising clients on various aspects of developing customer insights capabilities. Raj is a frequent conference speaker and advisor on the topic of customer-centricity, metrics, and customer feedback. Raj holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Darren Smith

Darren joined Vonage in 2018 with the acquisition of NewVoiceMedia. In 2015, he began leading NewVoiceMedia's sales engineering team and assisting with new business and customer account management to support both high growth and operational efficiency across the organization's expanding global footprint. With over 20 years' industry experience, Mr. Smith previously worked at Salesforce, where he held various senior executive positions spanning sales engineering and platform architecture. Prior to that, he served at both Microsoft and Oracle.

Event Information

Campus is Vonage's first worldwide customer and developer conference. A return to the energy, inspiration, and discovery of the “on campus” experience, this dynamic event gathers the best minds in cloud communications to explore the future of better communication.

At Campus 2019, you will:

Attendees of Campus will include a community of business leaders, developers and partners looking to master the next generation of communications.
The conference app will be available in the coming months! Once it’s available, registrants will receive an email with the download information.

During the registration process, you will be prompted to answer questions related to special needs as well as any dietary restrictions you may have. We review these answers closely and regularly and we’ll be sure to reach out if we have any questions.

As we plan your culinary experience our team will be able to accommodate most dietary restrictions. Meals offered will have a vegetarian, vegan and gluten free option and clearly labelled. Please indicate your request during your registration.

Bespoke meeting space at Westfield San Francisco Centre is wheelchair accessible via elevators to access the fourth floor. Wheelchair accessible seating will be available at all sessions. If you require any assistance or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Vonage Campus team.

Yes, there is an age restriction at Vonage Campus 2019. No persons under the age of 21 years will be permitted to attend the Vonage Campus 2019 program or related events.
Yes. Our Code of Conduct contains expectations for all participants.
Feel free to wear something comfortable. But please use this rule of thumb ― if you would not wear it at work, don’t wear it at the conference.
Registration
Click on the "Register Now" here and you will be taken to the beginning of your registration process. Vonage Campus 2019 is an invite only event, please use the same email you received the invite to and complete your registration.
Once you’ve completed the registration form your status will be pending. You will receive a confirmation email from the Vonage Campus team once your registration has been reviewed and you are approved to attend Vonage Campus 2019.

Yes! We’ve been hard at work finding you some great options close to Bespoke. Once you've completed your registration you will see a list of our recommended hotels for your stay in San Francisco.

Bespoke is located inside Westfield San Francisco Centre on Level Four next to Bloomingdale's.

835 Market Street (best entrance before 10:00 AM)

Enter at 835 Market Street (San Francisco State University Entrance) near Walgreens and take the elevator to Level Four, crossing the Dome toward Bespoke.

846 Mission Street (Bloomingdale’s entrance)

From 846 Mission Street, enter Bloomingdale’s and take the elevators marked ‘Westfield Centre & Century Theatres’ to Level 5 and walk across movie theater lobby, proceeding to Bespoke near the escalators.

*Both entrances are open and staffed at 7:00 AM

There are two public parking garages conveniently located near Westfield San Francisco Centre.
  • Fifth & Mission Parking Garage: Encompasses roughly one full East-West block bordered between Fourth Street and Fifth Street, and Mission Street and Minna Street. Entrances on Mission Street and Minna Street.
  • Jesse Street Garage: Entrance on Third Street, left hand side, just before Market Street.
Once you arrive at Powell Street Station you have two options:
  • Arriving before 10:00 AM? Head to street level and enter through 835 Market Street Entrance
  • Arriving after 10:00 AM? You’ll arrive at the Concourse level of Westfield San Francisco Centre, take the elevator up to level 4
Transportation
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest airport to Vonage Campus. SFO is located 13 miles south of downtown San Francisco, California.

Taxis, ridesharing and public transportation are available transportation options at SFO - each with their own dedicated pick-up area.

Ridesharing Services: Uber and Lyft pick-up locations:

Terminal 1 – 3: Level 5 (Domestic Parking Garage)

International Terminal: Level 3 (Departures/Ticketing), Center Island Zone 14-17

Taxi pick-up locations:

Terminal 1 to 3: Level 1 – Arrivals/Baggage Claim. Center Island Transportation Zone

International Terminal: Level 2 - Arrivals/Baggage Claim. Center island Transportation Zone

Public Transit: BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station location:

The BART station is located on the Departures / Ticketing Level of the SFO International Terminal (Boarding Area G side).

BART is easily accessed from any terminal by riding SFO's AirTrain to the Garage G/BART Station stop. There is no charge to board AirTrain. Tickets can be purchased at the SFO BART Station upon arrival.
