What is a Call Dashboard?

A call dashboard is a convenient, efficient way for administrators and employees to view and manage calls and call flows. Phone administrators get easy viewing of real-time status for all account extensions. It allows users to customize views, see who’s on the phone, and even dial extensions with an intuitive cloud dashboard feature.

How does VBC Call Dashboard work?

Our Call Dashboard mimics desktop phone displays by showing which extension is in use and the status of each call for any extension on your system. The dashboard is customizable through your account administrator, allowing you to limit access per user.

How to enable VBC Call Dashboard

Super Users and Account Administrators can enable Call Dashboard for Desktop and Mobile App users. Here are the steps:

                1. Sign in to the Admin Portal.

                2. Go to the Account tab, select User Permissions, then select Permissions.

                3. Go to Edit Permissions, expand Desktop & Mobile (Plus + icon), then expand Call Dashboard.

                4. Click Bulk Edit and select checkboxes for User types to grant access to the Call Dashboard.

                5. Click Save.

How to use the VBC Call Dashboard

To access and use call Dashboard, users must sign into their Desktop App and then click Call Dashboard.

From there, they can place calls by hovering over the chosen extension and clicking the Phone icon; use Visual Call Park to view details like Caller ID, Parked At, and Parked By; use Visual Call Queue to see call queue statistics, availability to take calls; and more.

Yes, all calls handled by your team will appear in the Call Dashboard.
