By leveraging Vonage Voice API, you can create custom workflows for your VBC numbers. To set up Smart Numbers:

  • Sign in to the Admin Portal.

  • Click Business Apps, then click Smart Numbers.

  • Hover over the Smart Number you want to set up and click the Pencil icon.

  • Set options like name, location, direct dial numbers, and more.

Not in all cases. Using standard web technologies and just a few lines of code, your developers can program Smart Numbers to quickly deploy customizations on top of your Vonage Business Communications functionality. Vonage also offers pre-packaged Smart Numbers apps--no code required.

Smart Numbers can be integrated to a third-party platform or application from the Vonage partner network to create even more customizations, including Salesforce, Office 365, Google Cloud, Mulesoft, IBM Watson, and Amazon Web Services.
