As EVP, Head of CPaaS and GNP Sales, Seckin Arikan is responsible for global leadership of CPaaS and API Sales and Sales Operations teams across Vonage, and growing engagements with worldwide Communication Service Providers (CSP) to accelerate Vonage's API strategy and market leadership. He has held this position since January 2024.
Arikan has 23 years of experience in the Global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry. He has broad and deep industry expertise in the areas of global telecom, wireless, cloud, AI, machine learning, managed services, IT system integration, mobile financial systems and network monetization. Arikan has a proven track record of creating high performing sales, key account management, commercial and business development teams that drive results.
Prior to joining Vonage, Arikan was at Ericsson, where he worked in a variety of areas including project management, supply management and commercial management. He also held several senior executive roles in the company's global sales organization, including Head of Customer Unit T-Mobile, U.S., Head of Global Customer Unit MTN, Key Account Manager for MTN Nigeria, and Head of Commercial Support for Ericsson South Africa.
While at Ericsson, Arikan gained a wide range of international experience, and was an active leader for numerous employee activities in offices around the world, working in Turkey, Sweden, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, United Arab Emirates and the United States. He joined Ericsson in 1999.
Arikan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey.
