Vonage Convo 2021: A Virtual Event Like No Other

The virtual Vonage Convo 2021 event, hosted by Vonage, focused on educating fast-moving businesses how to leverage communications APIs to power meaningful customer interactions.

The event was designed for business decision makers to connect, network, and learn how programmable cloud communications enable customer engagement that is more flexible, intelligent and personal to drive better connections and business outcomes.  

With Sunny Rao, Vonage Global Senior Vice President serving as virtual host, Vonage Convo 2021 focused on how the pandemic has changed customer interactions forever, the implications for industries—including retail, healthcare, education and finance—and how people will want to interact with brands in the future. 

Best selling author Safi Bahcall delivered a keynote encouraging businesses to attempt bold experiments and ‘loonshots’ in order to stay ahead of the competition and deliver unparalleled customer experiences. Joy Corso, Vonage Chief Marketing Officer, shared results from the recently published Customer Engagement Report highlighting the value of advanced programmable communications when it comes to creating meaningful customer journeys  and increasing customer satisfaction.

Throughout the event, participants gained valuable insights through interactive experiences and demonstrations as they explore new ways to revolutionize customer engagement. Attendees heard directly from customer experience innovators and technologists across industries, including leaders from Curious Thing, Carousell, Visionflex, Paidy, Tuya Smart and LG CNS, and learned how these solutions are revolutionizing customer engagement in the real world, today. 

Vonage product innovations also took center stage, from the addition of an end-to-end conversational commerce solution to the Vonage portfolio via the acquisition of Jumper.ai, to key enhancements like Video Express.
