Vonage has been positioned as a Leader in the  

IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Communications Platform as a Service 2021 Vendor Assessment

IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. The Capabilities score measures vendor product, go-to-market and business execution in the short-term. The Strategy score measures alignment of vendor strategies with customer requirements in a 3-5-year timeframe. Vendor market share is represented by the size of the icons.

This is the second time Vonage has been named a Leader. Inclusion in this report emphasizes the power of the Vonage Communications Platform and our position as a leader in the segment since its inception.

Key features noted in the IDC MarketScape reports include Vonage Communication APIs, including Social Messaging, SMS, Voice, and Video; Authentication APIs, including Verify and Number Insight; Programmable Numbers; and the range of Vonage Management APIs, including Reports and Advanced Insights

The IDC MarketScape report notes that Vonage punches well above its size in the CPaaS market and that, by executing on the Company’s VCP strategy,  predicts that Vonage “can emerge as the broadest CPaaS platform on the market.”
