Inclusion & Fairness at Vonage

At Vonage, our team members are energized by the notion of Be What’s Next. Right Now.®  We are all responsible for creating a fair, equal and equitable workplace.  Accountability, Collaboration, Trust and Excellence are the essential values we all uphold in order to create a space where all team members can do their best work in order to create excellent experiences for ourselves, customers, partners, and communities. That’s the Vonage Way.

We believe in the value of diverse perspectives and we strive to have a balanced voice where everyone is represented.  We are focused on being inclusive and fair in everything we do. We support our employees at all stages of their lives and careers, enabling them to do their best work in an innovative work environment, and we are committed to making their experience at Vonage a positive, memorable and meaningful one.

We believe each individual influences our company culture, and we all have a personal responsibility to foster fairness and inclusion. Our diverse workforce brings different perspectives and ideas to the table. Our inclusive approach removes barriers to allow those ideas to flourish. Our equitable mindset enables us to be fair and equal with team members and hiring practices.

Vonage has also instituted a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Advisory Board, which is a team of leaders from across the organization who are passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion. The DE&I Advisory Board sets the strategy for Vonage that builds a framework to engage team members and attract talent with diverse backgrounds and experiences and promotes a culture that is inclusive and equitable.

We’ve also created a framework for team members to start Employee Resource Groups (ERGS) within our organization. ERGs are voluntary groups of team members who share a characteristic (e.g., gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, lifestyle, or interest). ERGs are employee-led and exist to provide support for personal and career development, as well as to create a safe space where team members can bring their whole selves to the table. Allies are also invited to join the ERG to support their colleagues.

As a company with 250 or more employees, the UK Government requires Vonage to annually publish gender pay gap data. This is the difference in the average (mean or median) earnings of men and women across a workforce. Gender pay gap data for Vonage is available here.

Through these actions and our conscious awareness and accountability, we know that Vonage can be a place where everyone - team members, customers and all those who come into contact with our organization - have a positive experience. Vonage is a place where all team members can grow and thrive, and where diversity is not only welcomed, but celebrated. We are one team made up of smart, passionate and innovative people who get stuff done. We are in this together because we know our differences make us stronger. We hold ourselves to a standard of excellence in the way we do business, and the way we treat each other.
